Prior to v1.1.1005, the program files and DLLs installed when Enhanced Windows Backup is installed were incorrectly marked in the registry as shared DLLs. This means that when the software is uninstalled, they can remain. The files should be manually deleted but it is also advisable to delete the registry values that record that these files are shared. These registry values exist in the key :- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls You can identify the Enhanced Windows Backup values because they start with :- C:\Program Files\SoftSwift\Enhanced Windows Backup Once you have completed this procedure, versions 1.1.1005 and later will uninstall cleanly and remove the folders and files completely. If you have any doubts about editing the registry, then do not attempt this procedure. If you do, you do so at your own risk.
