Possible Strategy for Backing up a pair of Home Computers without needing to purchase additional hardware

Install Enhanced Windows Backup on both computers and map a network drive on each (eg. N:) to point to a folder on the other. Then set the Backup Destination Folder in Enhanced Windows Backup to the mapped network drive. Set up as backup jobs on each computer as you need to protect the data on it.

N.B. make sure that none of the backup jobs on either computer include the C:\Backups_of_Others\ folder, otherwise you will be backing up backups un-necessarily and you will use up disk space very quickly.
